What Vastu Shastra says about how to built a home?

What Vastu Shastra says about how to built a home?

First and foremost, Vaastu Sastra is a science, not a religion. Vaastu Sastra's philosophy and concept are more concerned with complex mathematical calculations as well as the earth's energy lines. Faith is not a requirement for success. Instead, effective energy creation and positive vibration, as well as a flow of balance and harmony, are required.

The Fundamentals:

Vaastu Sastra is based on principles established thousands of years ago in Indian classics such as the Puranas and Vedas. It is about the order - the harmony of heaven and earth - and how we as humans can keep the human balance intact.

A few examples (merely skimming over and touching on the basic principles of Vaastu Sastra - only to make a person aware of what it pertains to) are provided below.

When purchasing a website:

  • Choose a location where the land is fertile rather than dry and rocky.
  • Avoid flooded land or a location at the end of a road.
  • Avoid purchasing land that is too close to graveyards, cemeteries, crematoria, or hospitals.

Building a house:

  1. Squares and rectangles with regular shapes outperform angular houses with protrusions or L-shaped and V-shaped structures.
  2. U-shaped houses should be avoided. People living in these would face a lot of hardship and unhappiness.
  3. Avoid houses with too many corners that are triangular in shape. The angles do not favor the attraction of positive energy.

Doors:

  1. A house's main door should never face a church, temple, or cemetery.
  2. According to the door formula, the number of doors inside a house should be even rather than odd. They should not be terminated with a zero. An odd number of doors should be in line.
  3. When two doors are facing each other, make sure they are facing each other directly.

Staircases:

  • A staircase should never begin or end directly in front of the main door or an upstairs door.
  • Stairs should ideally be gently curved rather than straight.
  • Spiral staircases are unlucky.

Industries:

  • According to our Ancient Masters, the land for an industry should not be located in areas where the air is stale, plants cannot thrive, soil is dry and lifeless, surroundings are harsh and threatening, and hill shapes are sharp and pointed.
  • The main shed or building should be built in the south west sector of the entire property, leaving more space in the north and east directions and less space in the south west.
  • The overhead water tank should be placed in the north-eastern sector.
  • The raw materials should be stored in the western sector, while the finished goods should be stored in the northwestern sector.

Only a few of the fundamental principles of Vaastu Sastra have been discussed. For the best results, there is a lot more to be studied and comprehended in depth. If necessary, this can be discussed further. Keep in mind that Vaastu Sastra is not a magical system. It does not produce immediate results. It is necessary to be patient and allow time for positive energy and currents from the cosmos to enter the home, office, and industry, where harmony and balance can be found.

Vaastu should be regarded as a science and ancient wisdom that has stood the test of time.
